CNA Duties
CNA has to provide numerous basic nursing cares to the patients. It is their duty to offer bed side care to the patient, help them in movements & walking, change bedside linens and assist them in daily necessities such as, feeding, drinking, bathing etc. They should also prepare a resident for treatment and operation and administer injections, glucose and get measurement of their pulses count, measure blood pressure and urinary output. They also report to RN about the regular condition of the patient everyday.
There are many online and local classes forcna training information . Different states also have different training hours for CNA certification but, irrespective of all states differences, it is mandatory that, all training programs should follow OBRA’87 and state approved training schedules.
